Terms of service
Draft for review. These terms are written to be honest about how the service actually behaves, but they have not been reviewed by a lawyer. They will be replaced before the service is sold commercially. If anything here matters to you, mail support@nbb-mcp.be and get it in writing.

1. Who you are contracting with
Qmino BV, a company incorporated in Belgium (VAT BE 0000.000.000 — placeholder), operating this service under the name NBB Annual Accounts MCP. Contact: support@nbb-mcp.be.
2. What the service does
It provides programmatic access, over the Model Context Protocol, to annual accounts filed with the Central Balance Sheet Office of the National Bank of Belgium, and to company-name resolution based on the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises (KBO/BCE) open data.
We are an intermediary. We do not create, verify, correct or interpret the filed data: what a company filed is what you get, including any errors in it. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting on behalf of the National Bank of Belgium.
3. Your account and your key
- An account is created when you first open a sign-in link sent to your email address.
- Your API key authenticates as you. Keep it secret; anything done with it counts against your quota and is attributed to your account. Generate a new key if you think it leaked — doing so revokes the old one immediately.
- One account per person or organisation. Do not resell or share access.
4. Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to circumvent quotas or rate limits, including by creating multiple accounts to multiply the free allowance.
- Do not use the service to build a bulk copy of the register. The rate limits exist because this is a lookup service, not a distribution channel for someone else's database.
- Respect the terms under which the National Bank of Belgium and the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises publish their data. Where their terms are stricter than ours, theirs apply.
- Do not attempt to disrupt the service or access other subscribers' data.
We may suspend an account that does these things. Where the situation allows it, we will tell you first.
5. Plans, quotas and payment
- Quotas are per calendar month and reset on the first day of the month. Current limits are on the pricing page and in the docs.
- Prices are quoted excluding VAT. VAT is added or reverse-charged according to your status and location, determined at checkout.
- The paid plan is a monthly subscription that renews until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the current period runs out and the account then continues on the free plan.
- We may change prices or quotas with at least 30 days' notice by email. A price increase never applies to a period you have already paid for.
6. Availability
No uptime commitment is offered on either plan. The service depends on the National Bank's web
service being available, and when that is down, requests fail with
nbb_unavailable and there is nothing we can do about it.
7. Liability
The data is provided as filed, without warranty of accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose. Do not use it as the sole basis for a financial, credit or investment decision. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing here excludes liability that Belgian law does not allow to be excluded.
8. Ending it
You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account by mailing support@nbb-mcp.be; see the privacy notice for what deletion does. We can terminate an account for a breach of section 4, or discontinue the service entirely with 30 days' notice and a pro-rata refund of any prepaid period.
9. Governing law
Belgian law. Courts of the judicial district of the seat of Qmino BV, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection in your country of residence.
